Alex "V" Valenti from Harlem, NYC via Queens on Bass and Bass Synth.

Ricky "T" Tepperberg from Flatbush, Brooklyn via Greenwich Village on Keyboards.

Joe "JJ" Sansaverino from Park Slope, Brooklyn Via Queens on Guitar.

Over the years the Skadanks band have backed up just about everyone in reggae--It all started in New York during the late '80s and early '90s, it seemed like the time was ripe for a new style of rock-hip hop-reggae fusion that would combine the best of all three styles and usher in a new era of exciting dance music....The Skadanks came out of theses times, injecting a serious dose of Jamaican dancehall swagger.

They took their roots in the NYC music scene with their legendary live performances at The Wetlands, and Lion's Den Sunday night dances. On any given Sunday you would find high-profile reggae artists on stage with Skadanks. Artists from Shinehead, Glen Washington and Everton Blender to Red Fox and Shaggy just to name a few... If an artist was in town on Sunday they would pass through...

Skadanks toured the world extensively, to support their 1994 Elektra Records release "Give Thanx", and to back up reggae powerhouse artists like Jr. Reid and Supercat and Chaka Demus and Pliers. And now, after pursuing individual solo projects, Skadanks is back to put NYC Dancehall back on the map! FIYAH!!!
